Holli Fund Campaign
CIRRUS VODKA RAISES FUNDS AND AWARENESS FOR THE HOLLI FUND
Brand Gives Back to Local Food Service Workers, Pledges to Donate Every April
[RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, May 2020] The food service community in Richmond and throughout Virginia has played a key role in Cirrus Vodka’s growth over the past two years. Today, Cirrus Vodka is giving back to this community by presenting The Holli Fund, a local non-profit that provides emergency grants to food service workers in crisis, a check for $2,592.
In March, the Cirrus team signed up for the Autumn Olive Farm Dodgeball tournament, benefitting the Holli Fund. Unfortunately, COVID-19 had other plans. Upon the event cancellation, Cirrus felt inclined and motivated to find a way to help those most impacted by COVID-19. Cirrus Vodka decided to donate a portion of proceeds from each bottle sold in April to The Holli Fund.
Cirrus Vodka’s April campaign was formalized with “bottlenecker” tags that outlined The Holli Fund’s mission and included an easy method for customers to donate via text. This campaign kicked off with a virtual happy hour event hosted by The Holli Fund that featured familiar Richmond faces mixing drinks at home. Cirrus Vodka also rolled out a t-shirt campaign through Bonfire and gifted 100% of proceeds back to The Holli Fund.
Robey Martin, who helped form the Holli Fund in memory of Hollister Lindley, remarked on the community rallying behind the organization-
“It’s heartening to see the Richmond food and beverage community give so much of themselves during such a tough time for them. The Holli Fund has seen individuals who have received assistance go on to hold grassroots fundraisers to donate so others can receive. How amazing our Food & Beverage family is.”
Cirrus Vodka is proud to donate a check to The Holli Fund today for $2,592 from April bottle sales, bringing the brand’s total contribution to around $3,200. Beyond raising money, the team at Cirrus hopes that they’ve helped generate significant awareness for this fund. Today, the company makes the pledge that as long as Cirrus Vodka is in business, they will donate a portion of bottle sale proceeds every April, to continue supporting the Holli Fund and its mission.
